swissQprint springs a surprise with Impala
The Oryx hybrid inkjet system has built up a name for Swiss startup company swissQprint. Launched just two years ago, Oryx is currently doing well at numerous installations around the world. Then, at Fespa 2010, swissQprint presented a completely unexpected new development: Impala, which will set new standards.
Oryx makes inroads on multiple continents
At its first American appearance on the occasion of the ISA show in April 2010, Oryx sold itself practically right from the stand.
New distribution partner
Prague-based HSW is to represent the interests of swissQprint in the Czech Republic and Slovakia, with immediate effect. In Switzerland, Spandex AG of Rümlang has come on board as a second competent partner next to tagswiss ag in Oensingen.
Room for growth
Although a finished Oryx system has only modest space requirements, adequate area is still required for its manufacture. swissQprint has doubled the size of the production floor at company headquarters in Widnau in order to meet heavy demand.
