Posterlounge made the right decision
A swissQprint flatbed printer delivers on its promises: higher productivity, greater flexibility during peak periods and more creative product offerings. Fine art print specialist Posterlounge reports on an investment that has paid off in every respect.

Over recent years, Posterlounge’s order volume has grown steadily. To maintain the delivery reliability its customers have come to expect – even during peak periods – the Kudu flatbed printer has provided the necessary performance headroom since autumn 2025. With speeds of up to 341 m²/h, it processes all jobs efficiently and reliably within a single day shift. “This was a major relief, especially during the Christmas season,” says Philipp Dietrich, Head of Printing & Cutting.
Economical and sustainable
“What convinced us was the overall package from swissQprint. With the Kudu, we have an extremely reliable and proven machine with very low operating costs. We also appreciate the exceptionally fair maintenance contract with an unusually long warranty period of 36 months,” summarises Florian Teßmer, CEO and founder.
The printer operates reliably, standing out for its certified high energy efficiency, low ink costs and minimal maintenance requirements. The investment therefore also supports the company’s sustainability targets, which is why it was supported by funding from the EU’s ERDF programme (European Regional Development Fund) and the Free State of Saxony.
A sharper product profile
Precision is essential in fine art printing. The latest-generation swissQprint flatbed printer impresses with outstanding colour accuracy and smooth gradients (thanks to light colours), as well as embellishment capabilities using varnish. In addition, neon inks have unlocked creative possibilities for new design collections. This further sharpens Posterlounge’s profile as a supplier of high-quality, customised print products.
Flexible, reliable, versatile
The Posterlounge team appreciates the system’s versatility: Kudu processes both rigid boards and roll media – ideal for a wide range of applications, from posters, wall decals and canvas prints to wallpapers. The combination of flatbed and roll to roll capability also provides a backup solution should another system be unavailable.
